The National Association of Broadcasters Show is on in Las Vegas this week. I met up with my friend Scott Vanderbilt who was kind enough to shoot some short pieces of me talking with various manufacturers about their products.
Samuel Greene over at Zoom contacted me last week and invited me to visit their booth. It turns out that Zoom has an interesting new set of audio interfaces based on the preamps from their H6 recorder. The U-44 and U-24 are USB audio interfaces with two in-built XLR inputs for recording directly to your computer. There are a lot more details to cover once I get back home and have a chance to run through a little post processing. Until then, you can see the specs and pre-order the Zoom U-44 at B&H Photo.
The U-44 is priced at $199 USD which is quite impressive for a device with preamps like the H6.
