ZOOM PodTrak P4 Podcast Recorder Review

In today’s episode, we have a look at and a listen to the new ZOOM PodTrak P4 audio recorder for podcasters. This recorder has 4 XLR microphone inputs, 4 headphone jacks, and records very good quality audio to SD card or feeds the audio to your computer, mobile, or tablet via USB-C. On the P4, you can record your pocast as a single mix of all microphone inputs, and at the same time each microphone input to a separate file for more in-depth mixing in post. Either way, you can publish your podcast right away, or do a super detailed mix.

If you’d like to learn how to make great dialogue audio for your film and video projects, please have a look at my courses including processing dialogue audio in Adobe Audition and DaVinci Resolve/Fairlight, recording sound, how to use the Zoom F4, F6, F8, and F8n, and how to get the most from the Sound Devices MixPre series of recorders.
