Riverside.fm - Record Remote Podcasts - Video & Audio

In this episode, we take a look at Riverside.fm - an online service for recording podcasts, both in terms of video and audio. Riverside.fm is unique in that it is immune to poor internet bandwidth because it records the video and audio of each participant to their local browser in high quality formats and then uploads to the Riverside servers when bandwidth becomes available again.

ZOOM PodTrak P8 for Podcasting and Live Streaming: Recorder, Mixer, Audio Interface

ZOOM launched a new addition to its PodTrak line of recorders, the new PodTrak P8. This all-in-on mixing board, recorder, and USB audio interface features six XLR inputs, 9 sound pads (with 4 switchable banks), and an input for mobile devices to add remote guests. Its automatic mix minus feature also makes it easy to add remote guests. Let’s take a closer look and compare the PodTrak P8 to the RODECaster Pro - it’s most obvious competitor. We also talk a bit about how the P8 compares to the ZOOM LiveTrak L8.
